Does it Hurt
Getting tattooed is sometimes painful. This depends on each individual, and the size and location of the tattoo.
A positive approach to the tattoo will help hugely. The first few minutes of any tattoo is normally a little sore, however this soon subsides.
We wouldn't recommend that you take any form of pain relief (paracetomol, anadin etc) as this will cause excessive bleeding which isn't condusive to a well healed tattoo. The body secretes its own painkiller called endorphines, which kicks in during the shading process, and the area will go numb.
The pain of laser tattoo removal is similar to that of a tattoo being applied. Again, this depends on the size, location, etc of the tattoo.
