Voodoo Tattoo is a state of the art studio situated in the heart of Preston city centre. Health authority registered and designed with the clients comfort paramount. The studio was conceived with a view to separating Voodoo from the traditional parlour image associated with some older studios, which can be off putting to some clients. T

he waiting/viewing area is clean, relaxed and opulent, planned to put the client at ease and to offer a tranquil atmosphere to browse and wait. With a plethora of literature and media to help in choosing a suitable design.

The work station is clean and sterile and laid out in a manner so as not to intimidate. Every tattoo is created with new sterile needles which are single use and disposed of after each client, the studio has a modern autoclave (steriliser) complete with certificate for the clients to scrutinise if they wish. The studio considers the clients health as paramount.
The studio is a registered stockist of Total Tattoo magazine
T H C aftercare is also available to aid the healing process.
A tried and tested Pain relief is also available if the client request it.

Does it Hurt

Getting tattooed is more just annoying rather than painful.

There are areas that are more painful than others are.
We wouldn't recommend that you have your first tattoo on your spine, ribcage or belly. Areas close to the bone hurt more than the padded bits (tops of arm and leg).

Artisits

Tattoos are created by putting coloured pigment in between the permanent base layer of your skin and the constantly changing top layer. The pigment becomes bonded to the skin cells and is visible through the translucent outer layer of your skin.

So applying a tattoo properly takes much more than the ability to draw pretty pictures. A professional tattooist is an artist, a technician and a craftsman.
